This boxed set contains all the early recordings of LOST AND FOUND--many long out of print, some never released, most available for the first time on CD, and all in their original state--reflecting the sound of Michael and George from 1986 through 1995. Three CD's, the DVD and the book, all boxed together, including all the songs from previously released cassettes, We All Are, Our Third Album, Hengh, Sikkibahm, plus lots of musical bonus tracks dating back to their high-school years, seventy tracks on three audio CDs.
Also, the included DVD tells the story of the Bicycle Trip Concert Tour that began the LOST AND FOUND journey with a forty-minute illustrated telling of the bicycle adventures by Michael and George, over 150 pictures from the trip, and thirty minutes of video from a concert on the bike trip. The thirty-two page illustrated booklet tells the history of LOST AND FOUND and of the recordings in the set.

WHAT IS SPEEDWOOD?
"Speedwood" is the type of music we play. People hear our concerts and
immediately recognize that we are not playing Heavy-Metal music—no metal
instruments. As soon as they see the piano and the acoustic guitar, they
figure we must be playing "Heavy-Wood" music. This is not exactly correct.
The truth is we play a type of music that is a sub-genre of Heavy Wood, known
as "speedwood." Many people would say we have come to define the genre
itself. So we felt lucky to gain the rights to the domain name of the entire
genre when we decided to launch a website. Each of our three live-in-concert
CD's is called Speedwood (Volume 1, 2, and 3). |
